Today we had the visit of a Kookaburra.

Wikipedia says at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kookaburra: 

Kookaburras (genus Dacelo) are large to very large (total length 28–42 cm/11–17 in) terrestrial kingfishers native to Australia and New Guinea, the name a loanword from Wiradjuri guuguubarra, which is onomatopoeic of its call.

Late Night Shopping

Thursday was late night shopping.   These picture I took on Oxford Street, Paddington.

Good Friday in Sydney

I went for a walk through the city of Sydney on Good Friday.  It was very quite due to the fact that shops, restaurants and museums were closed.
